Insuring Your Laser Scanner

When you all travel with your laser scanner (via airport or shipping it to your destination) what % of the replacement value do you insure it for? 

If someone is traveling a lot with their laser scanner doing jobs across the country, what would you all recommend to do for shipping and insurance?  Does anyone have a blanket insurance policy on their laser scanner that includes shipping damages/loss?
