When using a Distance Dimension the dimensions lines then show up in the 3D Scene.  The dimension line (known as connectors under the annotations options) can be turned off.  The issue I have is that when I want the connectors to show a distance locked in X or in Y they do not adjust.

For example I have a distance to two offset circle.  I de-select the 3D distance in the feature control window and now select X distance.  In the 3d scene the dimension lines still show the 3D distance and do not adjust to show that the distance has been locked to X.

Hope this makes sense, I have a screen grab.

Ok I'm not sure how to upload the image.  Do I need a photbucket account or something?  I rather just paste in into the text box...

I understand what you want, and I've been requesting that feature fora LONG time. Currently, it doesn't work like that though.

****Update I have a response from Polyworks

Hello Chris,

This has already been requested quite a few times. I will add your name to the list.
