Unfortunately I got pulled off this project for now to do other parts, but I'll eventually get to try these things.

Ok those are good suggestions I'll work on trying them this week and let you know how it turns out.

Inspector / Creating points on multiple cross sections

I'm new to polyworks and i'm laser scanning a clutch sheave. I've been able to get the color mapping to work compairing to my iges file. What I would also like to try is a run out dimension on the face of the sheave. I created radial cross sections around the part. I would like to specify a comparison point at a radial distance from center on the cross section. The surface is at a angle so I don't think I can just make the point nominally and I would like to do all the cross sections at once if possible. It would be too much work to create a point on each cross section if I did it every few degrees. I figure I could use the deviation from the comparison point and find max-min to get my run out. Has anyone done this or know of a better way? I'll try to attach a picture of the project to help explain what this is.
