Title: DEM import problem
Post by: lambertj on December 11, 2013, 06:09:32 AM
Hello,

I'm very new to Polyworks and I'm having an issue importing an .las file (a DEM) into IMinspect.  Whenever I import this file in I am getting a very extreme vertical exaggeration. I can import this same file into another software, QT Modeler, and the file appears as it is supposed to.

Here's a link to the DEM with the vertical exaggeration: https://utexas.box.com/s/pnedlct2ss3mxaftv6ft
Here's the same DEM opened in another program, QT Modeler: https://utexas.box.com/s/sagibc7pmxfbqh8ir86i
And same DEM from an oblique view: https://utexas.box.com/s/9g1f8s451nh0mt8jm1u7

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Josh

Strange... Are you able to open the .las file in a text viewer, like Notepad?

No, it crashes whenever opening with notepad.
