Title: Romer Arm Hardprobe to Scanner Alignment
Post by: Jarhead on February 14, 2013, 06:53:59 AM
We have a Romer Infinite Arm with the Scanshark scanner.  How can i align the two sensors to one another within the software?  Sometimes we try use the probe to align to the part befoe scanning, but i am seeing an offset between the sensors.  I belive their should be a way within the software (Cimcore utilites) to zero one to the other.

TIA.

Depending of the version of RDS you have,  It will guide you on how to calibrate the scanner using a reference sphere.   Normally you use the master probe to measure the reference sphere (Like 1" dia) and just follow the steps.
